Opened in 1986, Lotus Temple is the Bahá’í House of Worship in Delhi. Like other Bahá’í Houses of Worship all over the world, Lotus Temple is also open to people of all religions & faiths as emphasized in Bahá’í religious texts. But what is surprising is that a major number of people who visit Lotus Temple every day are not the followers of Bahá’í faith, they visit it just as a tourist spot. Indeed, Lotus Temple is one of the landmarks of Delhi.

1986 में खुला कमल मंदिर दिल्ली में बहाई धर्म की इबादत की जगह है। दुनिया भर में स्थित अन्य बहाई धर्म के इबादत स्थलों की ही भांति कमल मंदिर भी प्रत्येक धर्म सभ्यता के लोगों के लिए खुला है, कमल मंदिर में जाने के लिए बहाई धर्म को मानना कतई आवश्यक नहीं है, ठीक वैसे ही जैसा कि बहाई धार्मिक ग्रंथों में लिखा है। यह एक आश्चर्यजनक बात अवश्य लग सकती है कि कमल मंदिर रोज़ाना जाने वाले लोगों में काफ़ी बड़ी संख्या में वे लोग होते हैं जो बहाई धर्म को नहीं मानते, वे कमल मंदिर वैसे ही जाते हैं जैसे किसी पर्यटन स्थल पर जाया जाता है। और इसमें कोई आश्चर्य नहीं है कि कमल मंदिर दिल्ली के प्रसिद्ध स्थानों में से एक है।

    मिश्रा जी, अधिक लंबा एस्पोज़र नहीं लिया था, f11 का अपर्चर रख आईएसओ 100 पर मात्र आठ सेकन्ड का लिया था। ;)
